How long has been in business? has been manufacturing digital labels since the fall of 2007.

Does print their labels in-house? 
Yes, we do. We print all of our labels on state-of-the-art digital presses in our Chicagoland warehouse.

Do you have samples of labels you can send me?
Yes, we offer free samples. Click here to email customer service and be sure to supply us with your mailing address and we will mail them right away.

Do you have a local representative in my area?
We are 100% web-based. We do not have sales people in the field, just very experienced, highly trained customer service representatives available to you any time.

Label Art and Design:

How can I send my artwork to you?
Please build an account or log into your account and place your order within our system. You will be prompted to an artwork upload page. Please upload all files directly to the website. Can I send you a disk with my artwork on it?
Although we prefer that you upload directly to the site, you may send your files in the mail to:

In what formats can I send my artwork to you?
We prefer vector art with all imported graphics and fonts. Any other files in other programs will need to be converted to be compatible with our system.

Can you help me design my labels?
Yes. We can design new art or recreate existing art for your labels. We charge an hourly rate of $95. If you would like us to help you with this, we will be happy to give you an estimate of how long it will take our graphic designers to handle your request. What is corner radius?
Corner Radius is the measurement of the amount of curve a corner has. The higher the corner radius, the more curve.

Can you supply me a bar code?
If you need more than one barcode (for example, multiple products), contact the Uniform Product Code Council. You can contact them at 937-435-3870. For a fee, they will issue a set of numbers, which can be used for your product barcode labels. For single barcodes, you can order them from When you have your codes, we can create them for you through our barcode software.

Label Printing:

Why are there no plate charges? is an all-digital label printer. This means there are no print plates involved during the printing process. Instead of using plates to transfer the image to the label, our state-of-the-art presses use advanced laser technology to transfer the images directly to the material. 

Is there a difference in pricing if my label is in black and white vs. color?
No, there is no difference in pricing whether you print your labels in color or black and white.

What kind of materials can you print on?
We carry several labeling materials for you to choose from. Our most popular material is our semi-gloss paper, but we also offer polypropylene (BOPP) materials that are waterproof. For a full list of our materials go to the Instant Quote Tool to review all of the materials we offer.

What sizes of labels do you carry?
We have a very large selection of sizes and shapes of dies you can choose from as well as a list of special shapes. You can view all of the various shapes available in the Instant Quote Tool. Just select the shape you want, then scroll down to the “Select a Size” menu so see the various sizes. 

What is a die?
A die is a piece of tooling that cuts the shape of the label. We have hundreds of shapes and sizes to choose from. View our special shapes through this link.

What if I need a unique die shape not shown in the library?
Not a problem.  Every label must have a die. If you have a unique shape, just call us at 877-299-7744 or email at with the outline and we can create the die for you. Please contact us for a price quote on your special die.

What does label windout direction mean and how does that affect me?
Windout direction refers to how the roll of labels will be produced so that the labels are facing the right direction at the time of application. It is only necessary to specify a windout direction when the labels are going to be applied by a machine to your products. This ensures the applicator is receiving and dispensing the labels in the correct direction on the packaging they are being applied to. If you are hand applying your labels you do not have to worry about the windout direction.  Review this chart for more windout details.

Can you match a special color?
Yes, we can. All of your labels will be quoted and printed as a four-color process (CMYK). If you have a special color to match, please let us know. We will get as close as we can to your pantone color.

What does “four-color process” or CMYK mean?
To reproduce full-color images, typical printing processes use four colors of ink. The four inks are placed on the label in layers of dots that combine to create the illusion of many more colors. CMYK refers to the four ink colors used by the printing press. C is cyan, M is magenta, Y is yellow, and K is black.

What are spot colors?
Pantone colors are frequently used for spot-color label printing.

Will my labels come on a roll or a sheet?
All of our labels are produced on rolls, this allows you to choose whether or not you want to apply your labels by hand or machine. We do not have the capabilities of producing labels on sheets.

Ordering Labels:

Is there a minimum number of labels I need to purchase?
No. You can order as few or as many labels that you would like. Just fill in the desired amount in the Instant Quote Tool. There is a minimum order charge of $250.

How do I reorder labels? 
To reorder any labels, just login with your user ID and password, find the item(s) you need to reorder and place your order.

How long will it take to receive my labels?
All orders ship within five business days after proof approval. If you need your labels now, just ask. We can expedite your order for an additional fee.

What forms of payment does accept?
We accept payment via PayPal and all major credit cards. Just login to your account and enter your payment information directly in the site.

Who can I talk to about my label order?

How much will shipping cost?
When you checkout on the website, you will be advised of the cost of shipping before you are prompted for payment.  

How do you ship my labels?
We ship all labels via standard ground shipping. You will have your choice of ground or airfreight and prices will be calculated at checkout.

How do I know if my labels have shipped?
Once we put a shipping label on your package, you will receive and email from us with your tracking number. From that point, you can track your labels all the way to your doorstep.
